Certificate

Hi!
3 days remaining for my birthday.

Today my very good friend came back to Brazil.
She was living here in India too.
I feel a little alone now.
Its hard to explain, i know i have more friends but, brazilian friendship is different , i am already used to it, we used to go to many places together and acting same way. Boh, nevermind, you wont understand me unless u have friends from other countries too. Luck of me that my family is with me.
It is a blessing having the opportunity to travel and know different parts of he world, to communicate and live with different people. But at same time its difficult, you feel like not wanting to let go of some things/people.
People who travel a lot is obliged to practice detachment, everyday, everytime.
I can handle it.

I am happy!
Yesterday i got my yoga certificate. Now i am a oficial Yoga Teacher!
The certificate says that i ve done the comprehensive yoga teachers training course. Now i wanna put a glass on it and put on the wall. lol.
After 1 year of course, getting stressed ( haha believe it, i used to get stressed during the course, because we had to do some jobs together, so some friends didnt use to cooperate well. hehehe), doing many volunteers camps, talks etc... finally i got it!
Now i am planning to do another volunteer job in an orphange. Also i want to go to peoples house and teach them. Then create my own Yoga Studio! I already have a name for it, but its a secret for now. =P
This is my pic at the yoga intitute, holding my certificate:
Hahahaha, this is the best bday gift i ve given to myself!!
I was suppose to do my yoga exams on november 08, but as i said, i am always traveling, so in november again was not possible, neither december. so i did in the beginning of this month, jan 09 and passed and all. Yeah!
Now if u need a yoga instructor, just let me a message. hehehehe
Ahh, i m thinking to make a workshop of yoga, an introduction of yoga. It sounds nice isnt it so?
But i m afraid here in India they dont get much excited, as u find yoga teachers on each road. hehehe.
I ll try anyway.. lol

2009 started very well for me, besides getting my certificate, i started a photography course.
I m learning about professional cameras, how to take pics and composition etc.
I am enjoying so much the course, almost everyday my group goes to some place here in the city to photograph, our teacher is always there with us, telling how to do each shot.
I like very much to take pictures of flowers and dogs. People are also fun to photograph, but then i need to ask permission for each shot..
Also i am learning modeling, hehehehe. No , i m not doing any course of modeling. Its just because at this photo course, we also learn studio lights, so a model is recquired just to be there so that students can make their practices by clicking. I m always the model,. hahaha, its fun.
But not everytime, as i need to click too.
Anyways, im having fun.
Now i wait excited for my visa to Australia.
I wanna go, i need to change, i need to come back to my studies.
Yo. and thats the way i take life. Always changing, always doing something.

I wish to...

Hello everyone! (:

Merry Christmas and happy New Year to you all!

I am here to tell you that finally i got over my yoga teachers trainning course! Yaaaa, just waiting my certificate to be ready now.
Anyway, i m gonna share what did i do today.
I woke up and watched Animal Planet. heheh
It has been sometime i didnt watch, i was missing it. uheuhe
Two photographers went to Quenia - Africa to photograph wild life. I found this tv show really nice, cause they didnt have to touch or cause any stress to the animals. They were there, in the middle of the jungle and savanas and were not touching anything, just photographing. Cool!
Then i went shopping with mom and brother. I was looking for jeans and shoes but i bought a bag. hehehe
I was suppose to go to a demo class of kickboxing, but we got late from the mall, so i m going to this demo class on saturday.
I came back home and watched Supernatural. I am addicted to it, hahaha
I like to watch Dean :~ lol
Reflecting on today and what i ve been thinking this week, i would like to share some of my wishes to next years, not necessary 2009, but things i wish to do during my life.
1) Safari Africa - To do like those photographers;
I love animals, i love to be in touch with nature, wildlife is just amazing and i wish to be in touch with it in the future.
2) Comb a lion's hair - lol, no, i am not crazy. One day i will. (I just dont know who will photograph me, but in case no one wants, i ll take a tripod. hehehe) Maybe i could do that in a zoo. =D
3) Cross Route 66 - In a car, listening to a good rock n roll. Alone or with somebody, doesnt matter, feeling like heaven is what matters.
4) To visit Amazonia in Brazil - Its my country, its nature of my country. I should go. I wanna go.
5) To make a snow man - I never touched snow :(

Ok, these are my very challengeful dreams, now here go some other ones that i have in mind for 2009:
1) To do my college in a university abroad - This doesnt depend only on me, but its not prohibited to dream. heheh
2) To be back to karate - thats my lifestyle, i wanna come back to it.
3) To teach yoga
4) To make my book for modelling - Why not?! Easier here in India than in Brazil...
5) To keep learning violin and guitar

These 10 were materialistics wishes, well, not that materialistic, a little bit i would say.
I prefer these kind of materialism than materialism that dont give us experience in life. Like shoes or bags for example.
Ahhhhh, i like to buy these stuffs but you know, its different.

Anyway, so here some wishes that i have in mind for the rest of my life:
1) Seeing God in everywhere/one
2) To love
3) To do my best, always
4) Dont having expectations
5) Drinking water
6) Being positive
7) Eliminating mind defects - fear, hate, ego, ignorance, attachment
8) Being friendly
9) Keep smiling
10) Always having more challenges to be completed - My life is complete when i have challenges remainning.

Now, two things that will never change:
- I will always be thankful to God
- I will always be happy

Sevagram tour - A journey to the heart of India

Hiii!
Ahnmn, i told that i would tell about my trip in this post, isnt it?!
Well, i ve got the pics now :D
I went to Wardha here in India. I was hosted in Arogyadham (http://www.arogyadham-seva.com/). It is a nice place, they have some activities like yoga and naturopathy. I would say its like a spa. I loved the treatments and the enviromment is very good too, but i found the food a little spiced in the beginning, but after the second day they were making non spiced food. (Good for me, haha)
Here one pic of the place:
This small doors are the rooms and there is a small very round tree, there is the massage/naturopathy room.
Some treatments i ve done:
- whole body mud application
hauhah, this was so funny, my friend and i did together, the woman applied mud on us then we had to be under the sun for a while, i was feeling like a monster after the mud dried. hahaha, then we took shower outside, cold water. haha, sounds weird but the weather was hot so it was fine.
- Spinal bath
Ah ok, this was nice but not sooo nice. heheh
I mean, i had to lie on a machine that massages the spine with water; the water comes 'with strenght' and its a little uncomfortable. I was wishing the time pass fast. hehe
- Massage
I dont need to say anything, massage is always nice. haha
- Steam bath/face
Hahaha, man, this was funny. First i did the facial steam, this was normal. The woman put a towel on my head and the steam was coming to my face. After that we feel very fresh.
The problem was the bath steam.. heheheh, they have cut a wood box so that people would get inside and this wood box has a whole so that your head stays out of the box.
I tried to get inside the box but i am too tall... my shoulders were on the same level of the whole.
¬¬
If i had insisted, my knees would be bended. hahah damn it. i couldnt try the body steam. anyway...
- That green cream on the face
Hehehe, they loved to see my green face, i have pics but its not on the pc. heheh
- Jalaneti
This is kriya yoga, i knew only one way to do jalneti, now i know 2 ways.
look what i learnt there:
I wish i had my pic doing this. hahah
It seems very difficult but its not.
You just have to put the pot in your nose and wait for the water to come out. Please dont do that at home without knowing properly how to do. Im just telling the gross thing, but actually the water should be well prepared. anyways..
The other way to do (the way i already knew) is like you have to breath in the water through one nostril then the water should go to your mouth. These are techniques of cleanness.
On this trip, i went with my yogic friends. We were 3 brasilians and 2 indians. (:
Well, next post i ll post something about my routine over there (beside the treatments, haha)
Today i m doing 2 posts in one day because my computer is not working (damn it) and .. anyway.
I ll be back. (:

Pooja!

Hello (after a long time...)!
Uau... i dont know why i took such time to come back to this blog, but anyway, i am back. (:
I ve done an interesting trip here in India, but i ll talk about this later on because the pics are not in this computer and i want to talk about it with the pics.
So, i ll tell about a hindu ritual that i did this week! :O
I live in a peaceful building.. and they were building another build right beside my building, hehehe, did u get this part? So, now the new building is ready and they wanted to celebrate (celebrate is not the right word for that but i forgot the word i need). I mean, to use the new apartments, they needed to do a ritual and to do this ritual they needed a non married girl/woman. (I think its because non married girls represent purity... i guess)
So, since the building is very small, i am the only girl non married.. so they called me to do.
I went there.
First, i didnt know what to do, so they asked me to remove my shoes and go inside the main hall of the new building. There was some flowers on the floor and a liquid, dont ask me what was that, haha, but it was smelling coconut.
so, they put a red painting on my forehead, that red 'pin' that indians use.. and they threw rice on me, hauahah
I had to tell the owner of the building: - come to me.
Hahahahh, dude, can u imagine my face?!?!
After that, we went inside an apartment and everybody went to the kitchen, they lightened the stove and put some flower on the stove and they were singing something that was sounding like prayers... At this time i was kinda frightened thinking that they would sacrifice me or something, hahha, just kidding.
They also threw flowers in a drawer in the bedroom. Then there was some small temples in the living room and they also did something which i could not see properly because of people in front of me --'
Then, my made was with me, she asked to take a picture with the owner, then i asked: - why? is he famous or something?
She said: - yes, very famous, he is Ekta Kapoor's dad and he does bollywood movies.
(Ekta Kapoor is like our lovely Silvio Santos. hehe)
Uauuu, even i took picture with him after that. hahahaha. Have a look:
His name is Mr. Jitendra.
I think you can find more informations about him on google.
Anyways, after all was over, he introduced himself and asked me where did i come from (of course he knew i am not from India, because i didnt know what to do on this ritual and because i didnt know him! hahahaha)
Ah yah, the name of the ritual is Pooja and its something like decorating gods and all so that they will have luck and success. (If you are an indian and you are reading this and you found some wrong information, be comfortable to correct me... cause this is the first time i pass through this experience! :P )
Look at me, do i look indian now?! :D
Hahahaha, thanks God, for each experience u give me!
Now look at this pic <-
This is the livingroom part that i told.. the owner was stepping right on that small carpet and they were making something, i couldnt see properly, but, probably they were putting flowers somewhere too. heheheh
Its a big living room, isnt it?!
But they expent just a little time on this room.. pity, because it was the most decorated room.
Now see here, they were doing the ritual...
After this part, they gave me an envelop and sweets.
I was not knowing what to do with the envelope, so they said me -put in your pocket..
Ok then.. after a while i said my made: -ohh i forgot to give the envelope!
She said me: -dont worry, the envelope is for you, there is money inside it. :O
Yeah, the envelope was really for me.. Some rupees were there. I could not get why they give money, but they do. Indians love to give money. hehehe
Well, yeah, i hope u enjoyed reading my most recently experience, now is time to go to bed.
Sorry but i ll not put thought for the day because the website is in my favourites of another computer. boh, anyway.
Have a nice day. (:
Namaskar!

Talk!

Today i did my first talk!
(that presentation i told you before) It was quite nice, i was nervous but i did it.
My friend recorded me, so i evaluated myself and now i ve got some points i need to get better. I was thinking english speech would be hard but it was not. I gonna tell you what i feel that needs to get better. First, i have to do my talks without glasses, i got distracted by constantly touching then; also, i ll do my next talk with my hair tight because when i get nervous, i keep touching something, like i did with my glasses and if glasses were not there, my hair would be the target. hehehe
Another thing is that i keep dancing and shaking hands while speaking. Clearly its sympton of anxiety.
Anyway. Mrs D liked my topic, and so the target group. They found it very interesting. XD
(I spoke about hiccups and how yoga helps)
Well, i could explain this to you but i fell like not wanting to hear about hiccups for a long time. hjehueuheuhe
But i can tell you that yoga helps through pranayamas. (:
Ok, you don't know what is pranayama, right?
Pranayama is the control of our bio-energy, our breathing.
Particularly , i am proud of myself because i have choosen the yogic cures for hiccups, i mean, i didnt search on any place for yogic cure, i just looked for homecures, but yogic cure i ve made it, and man, its danm nice. heheh
I have choosen the pranayamas IV, V, VII and IX because they have retention and suspension of our breathing, and when we do this, we are increasing carbon dioxide in our blood, so that, the body removes this carbon dioxide and forgets about creating hiccups.
*Excepting for the pranayama IV which you have only to focus and control your breathing through the diaphragm.
Uffs. This was a part of my talk. hihu! :D
Now, changing abruptely the subject, i ve got a new hobby which is photography.
I ve got a lot of influences, so i opted for this hobby. I am very open minded and i like to do many things, thats why i have lots of hobbies, but sometimes, having lots os hobbies is not a good deal because you might dont have time for all or not get improved in all hobbies. Both are my case. hehe
This pic was taken in Collaba, this building is one of the stations here in Mumbai.
Particularly, i found this pic very nice. hihu.
This is the beautiful part of the city that i live.
See this black and yellow old cars. These are taxis!
huihuih, soooo old, so noisy and cute at the same time!
Now, take a look at that white car from the right side. This car is taking part of the contrary road, hahah! Its completely normal, it was remaining 8 seconds to the traffic light become green, but this car was not bothering. hauhaha, when the light became green, most of the cars started to horn and then the white car got out.
Yah yah, horn is one thing that drivers love. It is written 'horn please' on each truck we see. hehe
I got used to all these horns.
Now see the difference. This is another part of the city.
People live at these places!
Some people does not have neither places like that; they just lie down at the side walk (if they find one).

So... will you still complain of something?

I also took this pic. See, i am not a photographer, as i told you, its just a new hobby. My intention is not only showing how i am improving in photography subject or whatever, but the real aim is to show some meanings of life, to show the reality.
Anyway.
Right now, i am hearing a song which says: "This is real, this is me, i am exactly what i am supposed to be now, gonna let the light, shine on me.." - Demi Lovato - This Is Me
This is a teenager song, but if you listen carefully this part (i mean, this phrase) and try to put it like a practice in your life, you can live happily with what you are, where you are and yet, you will automatically shine. No need to complain.

Thought for the day:
" Whatever happens, just relax and manage to make a smile. Life is not a problem to be solved but a gift to be enjoyed. Make everyday your best day!"
